BIG Brother has set up a ‘bail hostel' for five wannabe contestants—but only two will go on to serve time in the main house.

The losing trio will be sentenced to a life of oblivion and sent packing.

The hostel has been opened next door to the main house. BB will tell the existing housemates about it and even show them the newcomers in action on a plasma screen.

Later in the week they will be told that the fate of the wannabes is in their hands, because they will have to choose who they want to join them.

A Big Brother source revealed: "We're at the halfway point this week and it's obvious that to liven things up there needs to be fresh blood in the house.

"It will be hilarious to see how the housemates come to any sort of agreement over who to bring in, when they even fight over what to have for dinner on a daily basis."

The source reckons Brian and Liam are desperate for more pretty girls to come in.

But he adds: "It's highly unlikely that Charley will want anyone to threaten the level of attention she gets.

"And Chanelle will be desperate to avoid anyone that Ziggy could be attracted to. Gerry will go for any gay man, while Carole and Tracey want someone older. Sparks are going to fly when the decision is being made which will make for great telly.

"And the stakes are high because the three rejected housemates will be immediately evicted and never heard from again."

BB bosses were last night still discussing the exact timing of when the new housemates will enter the hostel.

It was initially due to happen today during Big Brother's Little Brother but there have been discussions about delaying it until after the weekend.

BB decided to let housemates in on the secret of the hostel after the disaster of the house next door last year, when the contestants heard the new visitors and worked out what was going on.

DIM-wit Charley's own words spoke volumes when she called a Tannoy a "tannoid".

Revealing that she feared BB has set up a recorded chant, she complained: "They have got a tannoid to chant, ‘Get Charley Out'."

When Liam tried to point out her mistake she ignored his correction and said: "What have I possibly done?" Liam responded: "Maybe being a w*****?"

CHANELLE and Liam are battling for second place, according to the bookies.

They are head-to-head with odds of 6/1. Posh wannabe Chanelle has gone from 7/1 to win, having gained support after her stormy relationship with Ziggy appeared back on.

And her Geordie rival has gone from 4/1 after staying out of arguments since joining the house. Dopey Brian remains 8/15 favourite to win the show.

Ladbrokes' Nick Weinberg said: "The pair are only disputing the minor places at present as Brian is going from strength to strength."

BETS are already on for egomaniac Charley to release her autobiography before the end of the year.

There are odds of 8/1 that it will be in the shops by Christmas. The self-styled IT girl—who began writing her diary three and a half years ago—has boasted about her literary prowess to housemates, saying: "It's so ********** interesting. My life story is sad to amazing to funny."

Looking forward to possibly Irish/Scottish/Welsh housemate(s). But you can't be too sure that new housemates are even coming. It's exciting none the less. The house could use some new personalities.
