GOS, NUSH AND RAY FACE EVICTION FROM THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE

Yesterday, the six remaining Big Brother housemates (excluding newcomer Lisa) were each called to the Diary Room to nominate the two housemates they most want to be evicted from the house this week. Due to his trip to Africa, Cameron is again exempt from being nominated this week. Lisa, having only entered the Big Brother house on Saturday night, also escapes nominations and cannot nominate until next Monday.

This week three people face eviction. They are Gos (3 votes), Nush (4 votes) and Ray (3 votes). This is the first time that Gos and Ray have faced eviction.
On hearing the news, Gos smiled and said “’Dubly, sir”, while Ray echoed his sentiments. Nush remained silent but later said, “It’s cool though, I knew it was coming.”

This is the first time Gos and Ray have faced eviction. For Nush, this is the second week in a row that she has faced the public vote.

Each housemate has to give a valid reason for their choice of nominees, and failure to do so could result in an official warning from Big Brother. Comments included:

Cameron voted for Nush because “in real life something that annoys me is when people have a bit to drink and they labour a point too long…I’ve experienced this annoyance with Nush.” He nominated Ray because “I’m a stickler for the rules and Ray flouted numerous rules in the house.”

Gos voted for Ray because “When you explain he’s breaking the rules he doesn’t listen and that’s frustrating. He doesn’t think he’s doing anything wrong when he is.” He nominated Nush because “she always takes the focus of conversations away from those talking, interrupts mid-sentence and talks about herself…little bit selfish.”

Nush nominated Steph because “I don’t think we’ve bonded massively and there’s creative tension…in some ways it feels like an air of competitiveness.” She also nominated Gos because “he’s been different this last week…he won’t give an opinion either way…he’s quite hyper sensitive, it’s a little bit frustrating.”

Ray voted for Nush because “we were all asking questions trying to get to know Lisa a bit better and Nush would jump in and it would be me, me, me, me. It’s starting to annoy me a bit.” He nominated Gos because “for the last week and a half he’s been a bit off with everyone…he’s a bit down.”

Scott nominated Gos because “Gos is not enjoying it and his mood may rub off on other housemates…he’s withdrawn and not a happy bunny anymore.” He nominated Steph because “I do not think I’ll ever build a relationship with her…I get a harder time from Steph in the house. She doesn’t warm to me…We still have uncomfortable moments.”

Steph chose Ray because “I think he torments the chickens which bothers me and doesn’t respect them.” She nominated Nush because “on Saturday night, when Lisa came in, we were all sat round chatting for ages and she said ‘nobody’s talking to me’ and she obviously wanted the limelight on her.”


Voting lines are now open and will close at 8.35pm on Friday 4 July. The eviction will take place live on Channel 4 on Friday 10.00pm, when the seventh evictee will be greeted by their friends, family and of course, Davina McCall, for their first post-Big Brother TV interview.
