I've noticed alot of member's banner sizes are starting to creep up to beyond the maximum limit and nothing seems to be done about it, also usually if the banners are too wide or are too long it makes the forum look a mess.

I will say AGAIN. We rely on the members to have a certain level of responsibility when adding banners etc... we are not the police force and we have limited time. There are far more serious things happening on the forum just now for us to spend all our time looking at banner sizes.

If we come across banners the wrong size or that are stretching the page we will simply remove them.

If moderators don't have enough time, maybe there should be more of them or maybe parts of the forum and different aspects of it should be run by different moderators, like place them in different parts of the forum, surely that would make your jobs easier.

why is it every time a couple of banners or something similar go astray we suddenly need new Mods. We manage fine thanks, the site is set up fine thanks.

The poor mods already have a lot to cope with.

It's no problem to me if people's banners/sigs exceed the limits, provided it's not by too much.

You can always turn sigs off...

I've found the last few weeks, the problems and major rule breaking on the forum has decreased rapidly.
