An idea I had for BB9 ....
12 housemates enter on launch night, but the BB house isn't what they expected. It is filled with mirrors and camera's and microphones but it has no furniture. All the rooms are empty and only the basic kitchen fitting are there. The pool is empty and there is not food or drink in sight. There is not even a toilet, bath or shower. The only basic things the housemates have are a portaloo, 6 double sleeping bags, a campfire and 12 tins of food to last them 24 hours. For the next week the housemates will have to win there house. They will take part in tasks ans challenges in order to win beds, sofas, dining table, the pool, kitchen utensils, food, drink, and so on. The housemates will have to risk there stay in the BB house in order to live in luxury. For example BB might ask them "In order to your very own bed, and a bed for another housemate of your choice, would you be willing to face eviction for the next 2 weeks?" If a housemate wins a bed, it is there own bed and no other housemates may use it. Or BB might ask them "In order to win a shower would you be willing to put another housemate on slop for 4 weeks?" What do you think? |

Sounds an bad idea, I don't think it would be very popular with viewers and would probably be a bad start to the series.

I've always loved the "build your own house" idea, but isn't that what they did in Big Brother Australia 2002?

It's a fresh and new twist, which I think BB needs, but I always look forward to seeing the house tour and like it when the house looks fabulous, new and shiny.
![]() I don't think it would work. |

if anything, i think bb needs to be harsher, BB lets the hm's get away with too much, in austrailia there not even allowed to sing music. Or say anythin bad about BB, if they do, money is deducted from there prize fund

I think it'd work better a few weeks in - they wake up to find all the furniture gone, and that week's shopping task involves winning the house back.
Actually, do you mind me using my idea above in my BB9 project? |

After the hopeless opening night gimmick of BB8, we can garuntee that BB9 will start as simply as possible.
