Default Any ideas?

Hey guys, well basically 'Jeans for Genes' day is coming up on the 5th of October, and I have to raise money for it in a group with 5 other girls. We only have one idea so far, which would be to prance around town for the day in pretty pink fairy outfits (wings, wand, headband, tutu on top of jeans.. you should get the picture!) raising money in a bucket Which would actually be the funnest thing ever!

So really I'm just wondering if anyone has any good fund raising ideas you could share with me.. please? I'd appreciate it

Selling tea and coffee at rugby/football matches on a weekend morning can make you a fair amount of money. Car boot sale works too!

Hmm, also try doing some kind of sponsored activity, though Jeans for Genes day is sponsored in itself. You could maybe do something and say it's "In aid of Jeans for Genes" and have it themed on the idea of jeans, if you get what I mean. =]

Have a dance-off! Or you could arrange some stalls or something in your village and have some refreshments and amusements (bouncy castle etc) around ;]

Sponsored walks, climbs are good. We did one for Kenya and I raised £130 for a couple of hours walking, it's a good way of rasing some money.

I did something when I was at school which raised a ton of cash. We organised a pie the teacher contest. We gotsome teachers to put their names forward then went round the school with a bucket for each teacher...... the 2/3 with the most money got pied.... not only that but we raffled tickets off for people to win the chance to pie the teachers who got the most in their bucket
