Mel B wowed the audience with her samba routine on Dancing With The Stars last night. Dressed in a revealing sequined outfit, Mel sashayed across the dance floor to the groove of Spice Up Your Life.
An anxious Mel – who fell into the bottom two during last week’s show – was battling illness but the judges were highly impressed with her moves. “It was the best samba of the night,” declared Bruno before her score of 29 out of 30 was announced.
“It was fruity, sweet and delicious,” added Len.
Mel B jumped for joy – and joked that it was worth being sick for such a result. “I am loving being in this competition,” she cackled.
Before her performance, the show screened a clip of Mel as she jetted to the UK last week to film the video to the new Spice Girls single, Headlines (Friendship Never Ends). The Dancing With The Stars cameras followed her behind the scenes where she practised her routine with dance partner Maksim during breaks in filming. “Please vote for Mel because she’s fab,” pleaded Emma Bunton on the film.
Mel B revealed that she was close to tears after falling into the bottom two last week – but she’s back on form and clearly going for gold with this week's score. Go Mel B!
