in the third series they chaged the format which one do you prefer?

Themes or no themes.

I think Series 2 was the better series but I like the celebrity guests so my vote goes to series 3 + 4. I don't see a problem with themes unless they are broad like "number ones" and "songs from the movies" etc but "disco week" and "Barry Manilow week" are awful.

Oh right, I see. Yeah I prefer having the themes, though I think they should be more weighted to modern music. 80s week, 90s week, Songs of 2007 etc would be acceptable themes because they're more recent.

The celebrity guests are just their to pass time, there should be more talking to the judges and contestants

Yeah I prefer themes as well. It gives the show more structure.
I agree with the whole Barry Manilow thing. lol. The more general themes are better but if it was like Danii Minogue week, I would squirm. lol.

i think i actually preferred 1 and 2 becuase they were just better even though steve shouldn't have won series 1!

oh right lol no i prefer 1 and 2 because they can sing songs that are more suited to them in 3 and 4 they had to stick to a theme although themes like 90s songs 00 songs love songs etc are ok

I like the themes like number 1's and songs since 2000 because it gives the contestants a wide range of songs to chose from and they are more modern but I don't like the themes like Abba week and mo-town week.

Overall I prefer having the themes because the contestants can do something a bit different each week, so i prefer series 3and 4
