I have the afternoon off on Thursday,w ell the whole year actually, because we are going to watch a football tornament that my friends in. Never heard of the strike though.

Noo I start again tomorrow!!! My 2 weeks are over!!!

Yepo..i'm off on thursday and friday as friday is teachers training day. So only a 3 day week

I got Friday of this week for teacher training, but I live iun Northern Ireland and we have a different education system

My Mums a teacher at the Tec/Additional Adult Learning Recorces or whatever you call it now too, so I'll ask her

Public/Private schools don't have the strike so that applies to me, I got study leave soon so thats alright i suppose.

Yep, i'll be off school on Thursday due to the teacher's strike. I've heard the other union may be striking at some point too, but it's only the NUT at the moment who are actually striking.
