But she's clever enough not to be lead into believing Mario+Steph aren't a real couple.
That's a PART of the task.
Discover that Mario+Steph are fake, then that opens the possibility that Mario may be with someone else.
which to be fair, would be hard to find out seeing as Mario+Lisa have been ignoring each other.

I think this whole wedding etc is bizzare, I would never have gone along with it, old fashioned kind of girl I am.

alex is quuite smart to work out the wedding is a fake but i dont think anyone cud work out that lisa and mario are the real couple

I've not been keeping up with this plot, but in all honesty it can't be difficult to figure out that this isn't real: they probably all secretly think the wedding's a secret task. If anything, it's become a diversion for what the real secret mission is, which nobody can figure out. And that's the whole idea - for them not to get caught. Nobody would think Mario/Lisa are a couple - fellow housemates will just assume they haven't clicked.

yeah, the marriage is just a smoke screen...the more they obsess about whether the marriage is real or not, or the marriage in general, the further they get away from the truth. Alex needs to look at the bigger picture and realize things can't be that simple.
