Do you think a live show was really needed for this week in replacement of an eviction? There was only one housemate entering after all. Personally, I'm glad they did have one.

It would of been better if two housemates had of entered.
I don't think there was a need for a live show, the new housemate could have entered on Sunday when BBLB is on but they had 2 gaps to fill for C4.

the new housemate should have gone in during the first show, and then the 10:30 show should have been a LIVE (note I said LIVE) interview with that thing...

as it was it wasn't really needed so I voted "No"...but it was another chance to see Davina

A live show was not necessary tonight, but plans had been made for one so it was pretty obvious from the moment Alex was ejected that it would still be going ahead.

I don't think there was any need for a new housemate though - they could have just done the Alex interview.

That's a good point.

I must admit I thought the whole thing being live was a bit pointless, but I do like new housemates to go in the house in front of a crowd. It's all a bit of an anti-climax when they go in through the diary room.

So, I'd say the highlights could have been done as normal, and then the second show live.

They had a live show license and an audience sorted out - if anything, the new HM was simply to fill the time they'd allocated for the eviction rather than vice versa.
