It really annoys me that the Mikey haters are making it out like anyone who supports Mikey is only doing it because he's blind. That's not the case at all. I love his fun, energetic, entertaining personality. He's a great person and so far he's been really nice to everyone in the house. The fact that he doesn't let his disability get him down (and think how hard it must be to be blind!) is just a bonus.

The only reason someone wouldn't vote AGAINST Mikey is because he's blind. Yes, he could be annoying and you could have reasons to like/dislike him, but at the end of the day if you're voting out a blind guy, you'll seem like a bad guy.

Supporting him doesn't make it a sympathy vote.

I think he is a bit annoying and his stand up routine really shocked me, having said that tho, he is harmless and he means well. at the mo he is not my least favourite Housemate, so I'm not bothered about getting rid of him just yet.. whether he is blind or not doesnt come into it

I can't see any reason to vote against Mikey. He's fun and genuine which most BB fans claim to be their most important factors when picking a favourite. Yes his voice can be slightly annoying as it's quite nasal, but it's not exactly an issue.

Plus he's Scottish. I like the jocks.

I think people who have Mikey on their "hate" list are just trying to prove that they don't worry about being politically correct, thinking that somehow makes them "cool." I'm not politically correct either in other ways, but why be offensive just for the sake of being offensive? They complain about people liking him because he is blind, but they actually dislike him for the same reason.
