Default Lisa & Sara: Close Vote - Yeah, Whatever!

“The vote was so close that…we had to have a crisis meeting.”

~ Davina ~

“[Lisa] has been evicted, with 52.6 per cent of the vote…”

~ Channel 4’s official BB9 website ~

Wow! 52.6 to Sara’s 47.4! Sooo close! I'm so glad they had that crisis meeting!

God that is very close. I'm kinda upset that they two were against each other. Sara will not really be happy in the house without Lisa.

It was very close.....Not knowing what would happen in the final hour which could have swung it one way or the other I can understand them having a crisis meeting so as to decide what to do in the event of a tie......Although the probability of it being a tie must be very remote indeed.....

If they only had a few hundred votes then the prospect of a tie was real.

Depends on what they mean by 50/50. One vote either side would be said to be 50/50 and yet there would still be a winner.

The chances of each getting the exact same number is very remote......All they would need to do is leave the lines open another few seconds and a positive result would be the outcome.....It only takes one vote more to establish a winner....

I think the best thing to have done if there was a tie was to allow both to stay. Evict two on Tuesday as planned and then have six in the final like last year......

The closest ever vote was in BB3 between Alex, Alison and Sandy. Alison was evicted with 38.52% but Alex was leading when the live show started, and there was apparently something like 1000 votes separating Alex and Alison when the lines closed.

Then in BB6, Orlaith v Science, Science was evicted with 50.5%.

Davina has said what they would have done, quite funny actually. They would have got an independant adjudicator and tossed a coin - I would have loved that to happen. Just imagine the complaints ha ha

Here's the link to the video of Davina explaing this

I think it was close throughout the week, they must of changed a lot for them to nearly have a crisis meeting. The last couple of days with the whole Darnell-Sara thing probably swayed a few more votes for Lisa.
