This week's task might be a pain in the chain, but the experience has brought two housemates closer than ever.

Nadia often suffers from sleepless nights and last night was no exception as Dan lay bound to her in bed.

Eventually her chain gang buddy came up with a solution to her torment. "Do you want a cuddle?" he whispered to her in the dark.

At first his restless bedmate laughed at the suggestion, then giggled, "Oh go on then" and gave herself up to Dan's manly embrace.

Sweet.

While Jason and Michelle have been thinking murderous thoughts in the Diary Room, Dan and Nadia have merrily clattered about the House, chatting, smoking and exchanging moisturiser.

And there Dan sat, bound and alone...


The impending cigarette drought looms large in Nadia's mind and there's a danger that, when the nicotine runs out, she will too.

But now she has Dan, her ever-present right-foot man, shielding her from harmful things, placating, cajoling and comforting her. A positive Yang to Nadia's troubled Yin, spiritually speaking!

When Nadia needed a late night audience with Big Brother at 1AM, sleepy Dan didn't grumble. Instead he obediently tagged along and waited patiently outside the Diary Room for over 15 minutes.

And, as Nadia emerged red eyed, he suggested a sneaky fag in the garden where the pair discussed the stress of living under the spotlight and their hopes and fears about life on the outside.

Dan told Nadia, "Whatever happens your friends and family will still love you and think you are fantastic."

He says the sweetest things.
