Well I think it depends on how far in advance you book your tickets.

Have to shop around really. i did a study of fares and airfare charges as parrt of my degree and the cheapest flight i found to new york, return was £400 which is really good. but that has massive restrictions on like.....

you fly a certain date, time. etc.

If u shop around you should be able to find somwhere cheaper.
