What about Eoghan? he was even worse! I liek the way some people keep going on about Diana but competey leave out Eoghan. When it's so obvs he is going to win.

I watched Xtra Factor between the main shows. The general concensus of people on there was that Alexander and Ruth were the top 2, while Diana and perhaps JLS would struggle. It seemed obvious to me that Diana with her fanbase would stroll through however she sang. It was also the case that after the second round of songs, the judges told acts who were down and out that they were SUDDENLY 'back in the race', EVEN THOUGH THEIR PERFORMANCES WERE NO BETTER!! At that point I feared for Ruth.......and with good reason. We are now left with Alex and three makeweights in the last four.

Don't agree...............in fact over the past 2 weeks, JLS have gone from what looked like a decent boy band to a one-man band (Austin) and three average backing singers. They also used the 'sympathy' tactic of austin looking sad when Cowell ludicrously said they were out (after one song), and even more sad every time 'bottom 2' was mentioned. I believe most of their 'support 'is from people who are now running scared that eoghan will reach the final.

In terms of ruth and not reaching the last four, I did feel that when she sang 'Always' at the end, she sang it better than first-time, and without the pressure of what seemed to be having to belt out big rock-ballads just to stay in. Eoghan and Diana have sung week after week without that added pressure of knowing they were in the bottom 2 before. Ruth has sung 4 times more than Diana on the show, and 3 times more than the others.................yet that last performamce of Always would have won her a sing-off (again) against anyone apart from Alex at her VERY BEST. It showed she should still be in there.
