Nic: My sex pest Hell
Quote:
NIC: MY SEX PEST HELL I’M A Celebrity babe Nicola McLean yesterday told of her jungle nightmare in a world exclusive interview.
The Daily Star glamour girl revealed how David Van Day turned into a psycho sex pest.
His advances were so aggressive TV bosses asked her if she wanted him kicked off the show.
Amazingly, she passed up the chance to get rid of her hated rival, but now regrets it.
Millions of viewers saw the Dollar star smack her bum and suggest they pretend to be lovers in a bid to stay on the show together.
But disgusted Nicola, 26, said: “What he did was degrading. He touched me inappropriately.
“In our contract it says we are not to touch one another in a sexual way or you get a warning or even worse.
“The producers called me into the Bush Telegraph. I didn’t do anything about it at the time. But I am kicking myself now. He touched me and it was vile.”
Sexy Nicola was gutted to get the boot from the ITV show on Tuesday night.
But what hurt her most is that her arch rival David, 52, survived.
And yesterday he mocked her by stuffing two toilet rolls under his top.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, he said in a high-pitched voice: “Hello I’m back, I’m the new eye candy on the show.
“That David Van Day, I hate him, he’s horrible. Look at me, vote for me.”
Nicola guessed David had a game plan, and she was proved right when he confessed all about his secret plot to be jungle king and stop bookies’ fave Joe Swash, 26, from taking the crown.
Outraged Nicola said: “The man is a leech and was trying to bleed us all dry.
“He came in here having seen the odds and he sussed out personalities and tried to trample on everyone to win.
“When he asked me to have a jungle romance for the cameras, I felt sick. He is old enough to be my dad. When he tried to kiss me, I felt ill.
“I don’t want him anywhere near me, he is vile, vile, vile.”
However, Nicola does admit that having David in the jungle helped show her in her true light. She added: “He allowed me to show ‘me’. I proved I am ballsy and I fight for what is right.”
After she left the show Nicola was whisked to the luxury Versace Hotel where she treated herself to a long, hot bubble bath before speaking exclusively to the Daily Star.
Nicola, engaged to Peterborough football star Tommy Williams, 28, told us she reckons producers put her with fellow WAG Carly Zucker, 24 to make sparks fly.
She revealed: “They thought we would not get on and there’d be a WAG war.
“I did find Carly hard going for the first couple of days but if the bosses thought we were going to have a bitch fight they were wrong.
“We became good friends and she is coming to my wedding.”
Nicola said she was thrilled when she found out she had made the cut for the show from a shortlist of 200 celebrities.
But she added: “They told me it was the best line-up ever and they had some big celebs in there.
“They said there were some Hollywood A-listers. But when I saw them all I didn’t have a clue who some of them were.
“When I saw Kilroy I thought: ‘You can’t get better than that?’
“But I didn’t know who Martina was and I had never seen Star Trek. I realise now how big a deal it is for them getting Martina and George on the show.”
Nicola struggled at the start and wanted to quit but singer pal Simon Webbe, 29, and show bosses talked her into staying. She said: “I wasn’t enjoying the experience and on the second day I went to the Bush Telegraph and told the producers I wanted to leave.
“The boredom had already set in but Simon saw I was upset and gave me a big hug. I decided to tough it out.”
TV chiefs did not show Nicola threatening to quit and she says a lot of star secrets were also edited out.
She said: “George told us about Captain Kirk actor William Shatner and Star Trek. Apparently he is not a good person.
“Martina gets angry at Wimbledon now because of the cheating. Some players grunt to put the other person off and she thinks this is wrong.
“And Joe revealed how he nicked a golf buggy on the set of EastEnders and Dot Cotton jumped on board to hitch a ride and fell off. He got fined £15,000 for that.”
Nicola’s jungle highlight was receiving her letter from home. Asked who she wanted to win, she said: “Simon. Don’t let David steal that crown.”
