Cowell to make cameo appearance in Shrek 2 DVD

Pop Idol judge Simon Cowell is set to make a cameo appearance on the Shrek 2 DVD.
Cowell appears in one of the DVD's special features - a skit called Far, Far Away Idol. An animated version of Simon judging some of the movie's characters as they sing on stage.
His fellow judges will be Shrek himself and Princess Fiona reports Digitalspy.
Acts which Simon judges include Donkey singing Disco Inferno, and Prince Charming performing I'm Too Sexy.
Cowell made a cameo appearance in Scary Movie 3, but later admitted that he regretted the role.
