no live feed via red button or 24/7 E4 !!!!

Uh-oh, do we smell another complaints drama coming on? This morning we revealed that Channel 4 are ditching the red button from the forthcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother, meaning that, for the first time, viewers won’t be able to watch a live feed of the show. And now fans of BB are absolutely furious that they won’t get to see the action as it unfolds, and will instead have to rely on the daily highlights shows. Some devotees are even threatening to boycott the show unless the bods at Channel 4 change their minds. “You can feel the viewing figures dropping already with that news,” writes one fan. “They are bricking it and letting the PC brigade and the saddos who complain to OFCOM on a regular basis win.” Another adds, “They just lost another viewer, then. Way to go, C4 – alienate the hardcore fans” and “What an absolute load of rubbish. The live feed was the only way of knowing what actually goes on rather than the edited version they want you to see. Was getting excited about the upcoming series but all that has just gone out the window.” Oh dear. Now, we can see why BB have made this decision, as if any more dodgy Shilpa-type dramas unfold, they would have a lot more time to deal with their strategy without fans sniffing out a drama within seconds of the live feed cutting off, but it does seem a shame. What do you make of it – will you miss the live feed? And do you think BB are doing us a disservice by getting rid of it?

It doesn't bother me because I never watch it but I can see why it would bother a lot of people.

In all fairness the only thing that made the Racism Row get as big as it did, was because BB didn't intervene quick enough, if something like that happened again it wouldn't be as big as everyone thinks it would. Its not BB's fault if people are racist or don't get a long, as long as they intervene at the right time nothing would be a problem. Its nothing to do with bloody live feed!

Noone watches the live feed, hence it has been axed. But theres still BB Live on E4 at night and an hour or so in the day.

Its a bit pointless; takes away the show core princibles imo.

Sorry Tom i disagree i know loads of people who watch LF, during the day & night, i certainly watch it during the day, but not so much latenight thats why im so angry at C4 for doing this

Maybe BB10 will have improved live feed. Its only celeb bb so no worries but if its like this with BB10 then it will be a huge oh dear... At this rate maybe BB should go to ch5! They could put live feed on fiver etc.... Maybe.

hey im new!
just turned on my tv this morning....no red button so used my 12005 channel...technical fault.....then i come on here and hear that there is NO LIVE FEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! THATS ************ Stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!
even davina watches the live feed...she said so after her talk with alex on her vid blogs................we need a bloody petition or something! im not wathching it if C4 doesnt get its heads screwed on......they have lost A LOT a viewers by doing this

well just got confirmation from an inside source that there will be no live feed for this years cbb becos "the viewers will get more out of watching the housemates doing silly tasks and better ones becos when there is no live feed we can do bigger and better tasks"

also another downer is that they are NOT, i repeat ARE NOT REUTRNING LIVE FEED FOR BB10 EITHER!!!

im actually going to admit that im this sad.....i started crying....i was sooo angry! it was only a couple of tears but i cried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have never cried over TELLY! lol
felt a loser lol
but now im watching it and im okay lol
im still loving tina, ulrika, and michelle.
i just wish we could have it back to normal..i like seeimg them wake up and stuff.....its supposed to be reality 24/7...its lik what someone else said....im a celebrity but based in london..all we get are the edited highlights shows.....for three weeks!
and to top it all off it might be this way for the summer

This is bad, really bad...what is the point of not having BBC live streaming.....The time it on at night, they will all be in bed, I know they will. What the hell. Im mad,and sad, and confussed, And dont say people have no life watching big brother...because your on this site too.
I do have a life. A good one.
What a let down. Will normall big brother be on all the time....
There must be something we can do.

We the BB fans should contact Channel 4 and tell them how we feel, channel 4 think we want small clips on the net insted of 24/7 live feed? Wtf?!? Did they listen to one person and acted upon that?
Shame on channel 4, they DON'T listen to the real fans of Big Brother
