Default I really wonder....

where the large numbers are for BB now?? I know that people say its been on for soo long, but in BB7, ratings were reaching 4.8-5.5m for average HLs. I wonder if any of the ratings will go anywhere near those heights. I dont think it has anything to do with the quality, its probably because people got bored. Its weird that since 2002, we have lost 7m viewers (BB3 final got 10m).... i know its weird, but thinking about it, i wonder what happened to them... they must have grown up. It all seemed like a drastic decline.... i mean 7m is a huge amount.

Your probably think how this has just popped into my heard, the reason is that i was reading The BB7 ratings thread on DS and everything was really impressive, no complaints and no moaning.

You probably dont get me

BB and CBB attract two seperate audiences so it hasn't lost 7m ... yet

I tried to get her to watch CBB but minute she heard the
"Day 9. 10.21 am. Verne is in the toilet"
(I obv. can't remember the exact day and time but it did say Verne was in the toilet)
anyway, she just rolled her eyes and left the room lol.

It was very weird becase my Dad enjoyed CBB6 alot and watched it everyday and the last time he watched was BB7, i think CBB6 brought in more older viewers than teens up to people in their mid 30s.
Because in the demograpghic % released, you can see that CBB6 had the highest oldest audience % in quite a long time while 16-34 range (target audience) has the % lower by quite a lot.
Soo, they could get most young people and then 2 or 3 people over 35... i dont know.

With a format which is the same every year, especially BB6 onwards it can get very boring. I think quality can be brought into it too, BB7 is seen as the last great series but since then the show has been a shadow of its former self and that could be a reason why viewers have gone
Ratings are down everywhere, BB wasn't following the trend for years but as soon as it did the ratings didn't fall gradually like other shows, they fell sharply
The only factor that can be controlled it the format and quality, get them right and large numbers may return
