Default Please bring TiBB in to the 21st century!

TiBB is feeling very tired these days and very old fashioned. Compared to lots of other forums it just seems dated. There our lots of way that it can be improved that members have been suggesting for months that are just getting ignored.

I think it's in the 21st century enough without adding a shop or TiBB dollars or stupid-looking mood icons

In the forum's defence: it is a Big Brother forum.

But we can all agree it no longer feels like that, especially when off-season runs longer than on-season and a lot of members no longer just stay here for Big Brother. I think new feaures could be very fitting!

Clubs? Nah, that would be a bad idea! Members would become even more bitchy than they already are.

I agree 100.
TiBB remains drab & dull at times, when other seem so advanced & futuristic.
More sexy themes plz FTW

More members is what the forum needs!

Mark will not change the site too much due to bandwidth.

I'd love a 'find threads which this member created' option. Besides that I think the forum is fine! I don't see what everyone thinks is so bad about it.

It's not so much the bandwidth that's the issue, especially since we are on our own server now. Although saying that, server fees are due in 2 months *gulp*

Members will come nearer the time.. we already have the largest fansite by a long way... heck maybe it's even the 17th Century feel that people come for

Re: Themes: if you supply the colors and replacement images, we said ages ago you can create your own theme. Isn't there a thread on it somewhere?

I don't know what to suggest tbh, I have a short attention span so when things don't keep changing and improving I get bored. I do get bored of the forum at times, but luckily the things being posted in it are interested.

I wish there was more too offer, but I suppose it's up too Mark and James as it's there time that would put into it, if I could code things I would help but I can't, I can just offer suggestions. I think it needs more than themes...

Some of the suggestions I've seen, I like and have thought about myself. Thing is, it's quite a lot of time and effort to add features. Can't just magic things up and make them appear right away.

I posted something about making themes here - http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...954#pid1514503

Don't know if that helps.

Send me the codes and any images you use and I'll add it. You could also try loading the index a topic thread into a web design program, edit that and I'll try and work it out from that if you send me it.

Here are the values you need (seeing as it is a picture on the other link and you can't enter anything) ...

The forum might as well be re-named TIRT

This Is Reality Television
(since there is a sub-section for almost every reality show already)

It is the way the site will go in the end. It's just a natural evaluation that will happen with growing membership and the need to survive as a forum.

All of us in the towers knows that and realises that TiBB can be the best UK reality TV forum on the net. It's just a question of wanting to make it happen and I'm sure we all want that.
