Default Met office issue long-range seasonal forecast for summer 2009 ....


The UK is to expect a 'barbeque summer' with teperatures above average and lower levels of rainfall.

Chief Meteorologist at the Met Office, Ewen McCallum, said: "After two disappointingly-wet summers, the signs are much more promising this year. We can expect times when temperatures will be above 30 °C, something we hardly saw at all last year."

I actually want it to be really hot so I feel sick, don't ask why. I just fancy a stupidly hot summer, I just want to know what sun feels like again, because I don't go abroad.

I like the sort of extreme heat that you have to walk really slowly. I just love extreme heat, I thrive off it.
