Winner's song 'is Mariah duet'

THE X Factor winner’s song is said to be a DUET - and insiders say Simon Cowell is trying to fix it for duo Same Difference to win.

Sources say the chosen ballad is Mariah Carey’s When You Believe, recorded with Whitney Houston.

But furious contestants think Same Difference’s mentor Cowell is favouring them. An insider said: “It could be sung by a soloist, but it will sound much better with two.

“People are sniping that Simon has influenced the song choice in his role as the show’s executive producer.”

The winner’s song is recorded by all finalists so it can be rushed out. A show spokeswoman said no decision had been made.

Who ever wins this year, I can't see them getting to number one, even more so now Leona will be bringing out a xmas song which (IMO) will defo get to number 1.

the cover for the winner really annoys me they should be able to sing a song that reflects their own genre of music and i cant see rhyd singing that but i could see niki bev or sd

This is like last year, it's a song picked in mind of who Simon wants in the final. Does anyone else really believe that anyone other than Leona was ever going to win, especially with the song the winner had to record?

Leona is bringing out a christmas song? It would be good if she sang 'All I Want For Christmas' - that could definately be No.1

'When You Believe' would not suit Same Difference. They are pop, let them sing pop, it's what their fans like.

I didn't think Leona would bring out a Christmas single, because Siman wants XF winner to get Number 1.

Leona is fav to win (on the bookies) the Xmas number 1. So she must be briging out a single. She should do, she will defo beat the X Factor winner, as she is a better singer then all of them put together.

I dont think that means she is bringing out a single. Paddy Power also list people like Jonny Logan & Paris Hilton.

Also Paddy Power have The X Factor winner as fave to get Number 1, followed by Sugababaes and then Leona at 3/1.

Bookies are not betting for Christmas Number 1 this year, but Christmas Number 2.

I don't think that the finalists should have to sing the same song because sometimes the style of the song won't suit the finalist, for example of Same Difference made the final LAST year, could you actually imagine them singing and releasing A Moment Like This?
