A cheap distraction to their horrific economic and social problems?
Also I have found it is legal in Uruguay and Cuba, and also Guyana if you want to count that as Latin America. And also French Guyana obviously as that is part of the EU. Some Mexican states also allow it. Namely the beautiful state of Oaxaca, what I would do to be sat on a beach in Puerto Escondido right now. |

Religion and governance should never cross over. Abortion is a right that all women should have, their bodies, their choice and when you take that choice away, you create a situation where women have to take risks to have abortions.
When it comes to Christianity, there's few references to abortions in the bible, as far as I know, I'm pretty sure one of the only times it's mentioned is basically an instruction of how to perform one. The crusade against abortion has always been about attacking women's rights and nothing more. |
