More than two dozen cruise missiles launched at Iranian sites overnight

More from the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who provides further technical details about last night's operations.

Caine says only a small number of "planners and key leaders" were informed about the plans. He says seven B-2 bombers were involved in the 18-hour flight into the target area.

Once the bombers reached Iranian airspace at approximately 17:00 local time (22:00 BST), a US submarine launched "more than two dozen" Tomahawk cruise missiles against "key targets" at the Isfahan nuclear site.

Tyrannical is a big word, but no Non-muslims have it easy in Iran, and even the "wrong kind" of muslim (Sunni) gets the short end of the stick.

In terms of political representation, employment rights, and even practicing their faith, Jews (along with everyone else) don't live in what we'd call freedom.

Nobody said it was perfect. Iran is theocratic after all. However, who actually lives in complete freedom? Americans who can't even get healthcare? British people who can't even protest?

Israel is far more authoritarian and hostile towards the wrong kind of people, than Iran is. Iran isn't doing a genocide supported by the US/UK We have political parties in this country based on one policy of cruelty towards foreigners. They will win the next election. Iran doesn't have those policies.

People throw the perception of western freedom around as a stick to beat these inferior nations with, and we don't live in free societies, either.
