Big Brother evictee Alexandra de Gale has come out fighting after being sensationally booted off the show claiming she is "a nice person".

The 23-year-old single mum insisted she was not a bully and did not intend to intimidate other housemates by talking about her "gangsta friends".

"I am genuinely a nice person," she told heat magazine. "I have been compassionate to people in the house."

"Gangsta's a term we use where I come from, to say someone is on your wavelength. I don't mean like a gangtas with a gun. It's just an expression."

Hundreds of people complained to media watchdog Ofcom about her alleged bullying.

Viewers also saw her being reprimanded by Big Brother after she swore at her fellow housemates after one of them - Rebecca Shiner- burnt some chips.

Alex claimed the show's producers were wrong to think she was a threat to anyone but agreed that taking her out of the house last week was "for the best".

"Seeing what was written about me, I don't think I would have been strong enough to come out to boos."

"But I don't agree with Big Brother's reasons for removing me. I was misinterpreted and misunderstood."

Alex is going to be living down her behaviour in the house for quite some time. At the end of the day, her whole 'gangsta' speech only made up about 1% of her overall shocking and awful behaviour.
