I'm listening to a repeat of Darnell's radio show from yesterday and Austin is one of the guests; he said that he's been busy "recording the album and doing writing". Knew he would release some stuff

Well he's only recording it, it doesn't mean he has been signed which he hasn't.

They are in a contract until after the tour anyway so if he does get signed it won't be until spring.
