Default +500 Posts Section?

A New Section: For Members With +500 Posts Only,

That would not be visible to anyone without +500 Posts.

What would you guys think of this?

IMO: I would love it. it could be and escape from the Newbies...

Its kinda harsh on the newbies but it is kinda nice. Also some newbies are going to be alright and nice and calm. Remember that we were all newbies once!! x

I agree, but it would give the Newbie something to work towards, if they where committed to TiBB.

cliques are not fun and this is what it would feel like to a newbie being not part of a clique also some of the newbies are alright and we were all new once silly idea imo

it would not be a clique, it would be somewhere for +500 Members to go to escape, especially around this time of year, when there are lots of newbies posting, some rather, ridiculous threads and repeating threads?

but thanks for you opinion!

I agree with pinkmichk!

If I was a new member, and all the other members seemed really close, had loads of personal jokes, refer to things I don't know about in threads etc, I'd be turned off.

Theres no point to having that section really
and I think it would have a negative effect on the forum and new members

I don't mind the idea of having hidden forums but they should be hidden for a reason.

For example, on SIN, there's three hidden forums:
- A Britney one, for ONLY Britney fans to join.
- A VIP one, 100 posts and you get loads of extras like leaked songs first and HQ covers.
- &&The adult one, only viewable for those over 18.

It could be a good incentive for new members to stay I suppose, instead of using up names and only having 1 post. What kind of chat would happen in this section though? It may just be a waste of time if it's a second general chat topic as it won't get used in the off season.

I wouldn't mind it, it would have to be different to Chat and Games and General topics though.

Dumbest idea I have ever heard on this forum.

Yeah that would be really hard to reach 500, if I wanted to. A bunch of smilies after every thread. That could be done in about a couple of days. The forum will be real quality then.

imo its not fair at all. Theres no point in it apart from to keep new members away, and tbh some new members post better stuff than some people with 1000+ posts here so it wouldnt make since to keep a forum for 500+ posts.

JD I love how you seem to think of yourself as a forum gem after only 1000 posts. it was only a few weeks ago that you wouldn't have been allowed into said forum.
