I've just joined this forum tonight,and noticed Karma ratings beside everyone's names. What are they for and how do they work?

People plus karma you if you make a good post.

People minus if you disagree with their opinion on something, thats why i turned mine off...sick of getting minused for nothing

When people minus you, it usually means they fancy you.

BTW you have to have made over 100 posts to edit other peoples karma

I just reckon for the most part I've contributed good posts while I've been on here and most people have agreed with a lot I've said I make 1 joke topic about someone and i get negative karma.

Its just a system where its more likely someone will get bad karma for something minor than good karma for something major just my 2 cents

But not many people plus you, unless you ask them to. Which is kinda sad...

in the off season there is generally a lot more people who plus rather than minus
