I think it was explained to us differently. I'm sure it will be a fun and games task where the HMs will have to take control to avoid disaster. It won't be for them to actually believe something went wrong.

They should have done a mock live show played into the house which shows Emma and the audience get attacked then show people who had zombified running up the stairs banging on the door.

HOusemates could get called to the bedroom then all the zombies run in.
