Over rated and I generally don't have extreme sympathy for celebs/people who live the way she did. Although people who fight addiction I do find inspiring.

Great voice, sad loss to the industry and it seems people are always willing to have a pop just because of the way she died. Very sad.

not my type of music but she was on a Nas track i liked called Cherry Wine that came out a couple years ago. time flies. cant believe its been nearly 3 years already.

A shame she died from her addiction but for me her music was hit and miss anyway and that's what I judge her on.

Her personal life was very sad, wracked with addiction and misfortunes but professionally she was one of the greats musically of our generation.

I don't have any sympathy for her and yet I do at the same time. Her parents (well, her dad specifically) are as immoral as the Lohans - just milking every last drop out of their child even though they're clearly crying out for help and are unable to help themselves. She was a wonderfully talented person who never truly reached her potential because her time was cut short and she wasted the time she had.

..when I listen to her music now, I like it even more than I did when she was alive and maybe didn't quite appreciate just how talented she was at the time although I did like her/it's just so sad that she was so unhappy in her life and can't give us any music anymore...
