It was a severe case of foot in mouth disease for Big Brother housemates Victor and Ahmed when they launched a discussion about transsexuals - in front of Nadia.

The pair put their feet in it, apparently unaware that Portuguese-born Nadia, 27, used to be a man.

Talking in the bedroom, Victor asked Jason: "What if you found out your girlfriend used to be a man?"

Becki, the only one in the house to know Nadia's secret, tried to steer the conversation by telling them about a friend who changed gender.

Londoner Victor, 23, persisted: "It isn't anything against the person. But the first thing that would come into my head would be, 'this is a geezer'."

Defending transsexuals, Becki said: "If I fell in love with a guy and I found out that he had female genitalia but changed it to male because inside he felt that way - it really wouldn't make any difference to me."

But Ahmed chipped in: "We want a real woman. We don't want half a woman, half a man."

Nadia listened silently, peering over her bed covers before going into the lounge with Becki.

Becki apologised to Nadia, saying, "All I can tell you is that not everyone thinks like that. I'm sorry, they just riled me up."

I feel sorry for her. So what that she changed her gender. if she wasnt comfortable being a man so what. Its whats inside that counts!! Go Nadia

At least Nadia is always laughing, I know it can be annoying at times at least sshe is chearful. It can't be easy for her with people like V and J in the house. I do hope she wins
