I've thought this for ages that the evictions are far too corny and over rehearsed.

To add more tense atmosphere and excitement to the eviction like the good ol' Channel 4 days they need to scrape the stupid and pointless sirens and remove the music they play over the crowd reaction.

They need to stop playing the tension music over the eviction announcement as well and put it back so it plays over the housemate leaving. Perhaps most importantly of all though, they need to get Marcus Bentley as far away from a live show as possible.

They should probably redesign the entire outdoor set as part to liven things up.

I always liked Australia's eviction set - they have a walkway going right through the center of the crowd that is low enough that they can high-five and interact with the audience as they're walking down, plus they would have these massive crowds that they would pan-over with multiple crane shots and had lights and smoke machines going off. It always looked amazing and made it really feel like event TV.

Take a look on YouTube primarily at the 2003-2007 seasons, before they were cancelled and returned with a serious weaker set.
