all of a sudden i drop to the floor
bang my head on the door

I zone out
Who am i?

feel like im in a vortex, spinning round and round
and it's so silent there is simply no sound
a twister sucking up things from the ground
trees from the earth
taking them for all their worth

I wake up and it's half past eleven
I'm feeling far from heaven
on the floor all cold and confused
i stand up and walk over to the window
hoping the sky is that certain shade of indigo

Draw the curtains to find it's not
i stop and pause for some food for thought
gaze out into space to see the moon and some stars
look down to ground to see a road full of trucks and cars

sitting here

Waiting for this crisp new day
waiting for the sun to come out to play
and i'm trying to realize what I need to see
trying to work out what i need to be
i'm trying to work out, who is thee?

Who is thee?
What am i trying to achieve?
When will I start to believe?
When will I see that life isn't tough
I should really see it soon enough

It being 5 past 1, there's still no sign of the sun
Having to sit here and write this for fun
having to sit here and wait because this bitch can't sleep

but what i really want is to have a sleep that is ultra deep

I get back into bed and put my head to the pillow
close my eyes to see a weeping willow
a light going round and round this time theres a sound
a sound of a horn blaring loud

I wake up, confused and dazed
A ringing in my ear that i'm scared will last for days
I get back out of bed and back to the window
hoping for the sky that is indigo
again it's not, but i'll go with the flow

Who is thee?
Who am i?
And where did you find me?

Begin to gaze up to the sky
Seeing a plane thats flying by
It's destination is unknown
I'm gazing up at the sky all alone

Sitting here it's now five past two
Now i'm thinking what, why and who?
Back into bed i go simply trying to go with the flow

I zone out and fall asleep
dreaming of a hill that’s really steep
climbing and climbing
working out this could be never ending

It's getting steeper and steeper
I then see a lighthouse and it's keeper
Giving me this uneasy stare
a stare that i didn't know i can bare
but then all of a sudden i began to dance on air and all the clouds above
it then dawns on me
the key is love

The keeper of the light
does not want to fight
all he wants to do is simply stop the hate
he tells me take a deep breath to lower my heart rate
to relax and sit down
and to never live life with a frown
telling me if i want to see the sun
to close my eyes and count from five to one

[Robin gets out of his seat and slowly walks to the front of the stage to finish his performance]



My eyes open, time now five fifty five
now i know the key to life i can fully be alive
carpe diem, seize the day
has the sun now come out to play?

Draw the curtains to see a variety of colours
my minds blown at the wonders
the wonders that are life
live life with no strife
live it with love and every day will be beautiful
life will be magical
life will be wonderful

Whoever the fuck i want to be.
