Police probe attempted car attack murder on two officers

Police are treating an attack on two officers, who were seriously injured after a car was deliberately driven at them in Glasgow, as attempted murder.
The male and female officer tried to speak to people in a car in Banner Drive, Knightswood, at 23:15 on Sunday.
The car then reversed and struck both, leaving the 30-year-old female officer in intensive care. Her 31-year-old male colleague also remains in hospital.
A blue Nissan Qashqai seen there was later found burned out in Scotstoun.

I don't see why attempted murder should be any different than actual murder, particularly in this case. I'd like to see them get a life sentence, see how they like them apples.
