from 'Whats on TV' Magazine if you look at the daily listings for next Tuesday, in the EE episode description it stats that the Masoods are anxiously awaiting Syed's Arrival.

Does this mean that he will be turning up next week up will it he not turn up for some reason?

Personally, I believe that he probably won't arrive for a while yet, but if so, its a bit late for a character change which people are asking for.

I think he is either gay, Dead or in prison (maybe some kind of fight broke out in between him and his mother? that's where the scar comes from?)

well on digitalspy there was rumours that he was going to be gay however the ee press office released a statement saying that syed was defo not gay, so ppl at the site including the person who does the soap gossip blog, were going to set up a petition to try and get the character changed to be gay.

I like the idea of having gay charries.
It gives me someone to relate to, plus one in eight men are supposedly gay anyway, so it makes sense for more soaps to have gay charries.
