Always thought the game would be far more interesting if there was like 5 or like 8 footballs on the pitch.

Not really trivial, but the thing I hate most about footvball is how a fair few dickhead fans use football as an excuse to get violent. Lost the game? Smash stuff up. Won the game, smash more stuff up. Drew? Smash twice as much up in frustration!!111
