After turning up at rehearsals the worse for wear, the duo have been barred from leaving the X Factor house at night.
A show insider said: "The girls thought they would get away with it, but Simon doesn't stand for any bad behaviour."
The ban came as Leah battled emotions to appear on last night's show just hours after family and friends marched in Trafalgar Square in memory of tragic love Jason McPherson.
Jason, 25, died in police custody in January. A pal said: "Leah wanted to be there but couldn't let the girls down. Jason's family understands."
