Big Brother star Kate Lawler is begging footballer boyfriend Jonathan Woodgate to move back to England from Spain, according to reports.

Woodgate signed for Real Madrid this summer, but Kate misses him so much she wants him to move to London so they can set up home together, said the Daily Star.

The 24-year-old TV presenter stayed in England to concentrate on her career rather than move to Madrid to be with her man when he was transferred from Newcastle United.

The newspaper quotes a friend of Kate as saying: "She thought she would be happy in London, concentrating on her career and seeing Jonathan whenever both their schedules would allow.

"But after being apart for two months she is realising how much she is missing him and she wants him to come home.

"She is a career-oriented girl and if she is going to remain in the showbiz world she knows she has to be in London."

Injured Woodgate has yet to play for Real.

Last week a thief stole Kate's mobile phone which contained x-rated messages from Woody.

The thief is trying to sell it back for £1,000, according to the Star.

Yet again, not sure how much truth there is in this . . . . the quote is only from 'a friend of Kate' . . . . .

But do feel sorry for her re the scumbag who's stolen her mobile phone. Lowlife.

Still not convinced about that Woodgate character anyway. All that stuff whilst at Leeds.

As for Kate's career - good luck to her. However, unless she gets a break soon I think she should head either for real life Footballers Wives or back to the office.

Have you seen pics of her recently? She is skeletal and it's really not a good look. Much as I strive to reveal my own bone structure, I don't want to see it in such stark relief as that!

I saw a photo of her on a magazine cover this morning with the byline stating that she is not anorexic.

From that photo she looks absolutely awful - nothing but skin and bone. Definitely not a healthy glow about her. If its because she is missing Woody then she should get herself over to Spain to join him. Has she not heard about commuting if she has work?
