American Idol judge says Simon likes to snog her Chihuahuas
American Idol judge and Grammy Award-winner Paula Abdul has had a few bust-ups with co-star Simon Cowell but they're now good pals.
'Simon spread some rumours as a joke, but it's been taken out of context,' she tells Now. 'Look back at my 20-year career – you've never seen me drunk or accused of using recreational drugs because I've never done it. That's the biggest misconception about me and it's very annoying.'
Paula reckons Simon is great bloke 'who knows how to wear high-waisted trousers very well' but she's a bit suspicious of his relationship with her pets.
'If you really want to hear something gross… he likes to French kiss my Chihuahua dogs Thumbelina, Bessy-moo (she looks like a cow), Tulip and Tink,' she reveals.
'He licks all of them on the mouth and I have to take them to the vet afterwards to make sure they haven't caught rabies from him!'
So is Paula, 45, really jealous of her mutts because she secretly has the hots for Simon?
'Once and for all, I fancy Simon Cowell like I fancy cold sores or root canal without anaesthetic.'
