All the most followed contestants from 2017 bar Montana, Sam and Jess made the finale. [Jessica, who had tonnes of followers before entering and doesn't really count, Sam when half of his followers are from him joining Geordie Shore rather than Love Island and so again doesn't really count and then Montana who basically made the finale, as she went home the episode before].

I don't think this years will be as extreme as last year, but I do for sure think making the finale is way more beneficial than going prior. You become a hot topic making the finale as the press follows you moreso after you go as you are 'new territory'. I think clubs also want you more as they've had all the evicted ones on the build up to the finale.

I feel like all the big characters/stars made it to the end though last year, and they were mostly originals as well, whereas this year the finale is gonna be filled with loads of irrel newbies so it probably be a bit different

She probably be on love island if she wasn’t because they wanted another “i use to be in blazin squad” gag and they did but Georgia did that. It sucks and makes it less interesting knowing the winner from day 1, espically they don’t even have the best journey. We will never get a winner like Jess again, from hated to winner will always be better.

Dani hasn't won because she was on that show for a day.... She was barely known.

Even being Danny Dyer's daughter hasn't made her win. Her personality has. People don't support Dani because she was on a Channel 5 show for a day, nor do they support her because her dad is famous.

It's like saying Lydia from BB13 was destined to win from episode 1 because her husband was famous.

She is an obvious winner because of her personality, which isn't her fault.

I feel like the public votes have got even worse in general this year too, if they win and then ****ing Josh and Kaz come second it'll be a disgrace. The increased popularity of the show has brought with it the clueless BB voters it seems

I mean it is nice this show has got bigger from 500k but we have to suffer with casuals who are offended by anything so they complain to ofcom lmao, over 2000 complained about showing dani a clip of jacks ex (they are not doing anything about it ha2 because its nothing) but they didn’t use ofcom over that kiss and these people were complaining how this could mess with peoples mental health. So the voting won’t be that good anymore, we need things we don’t see coming to make it interesting. 1 week left and you feel like whats the point?

Exactly! Dani and Jack have had it far too easy in there. As Predictable as they were, at least Nathan and Cara and Kem and Amber had their Dramas, arguments and Breakups. WTF have Dani and Jack gone through? Nothing!

Megan and Wes have had their Loyalties put to the test and they've come out on top and proved they're in Love. Them Winning would be the Most Satisfying Conclusion to this Series.

this. last year the couples were solid which made u more attached to them and made the final more exciting and in the air. for example i can't see anyone coming after after casa amor hitting over 500k even though they will make up half of the final, simply because people have no attachment to them

I think both Kaz and Jack2 will make 500k easily, especially when they leave. They will both be 700k plus if neither leave today, and 500k regardless.
