Oh i do remember a lovely little pair of wooden heeled shoes all us girls (me and my cousins) got bought in Italy. Thought i was the bees knees and then i walked into a puddle of tar and had to get lifted out minus my fab shoes, i cried and cried but my mum said we can't afford another pair - they are gone and get over it.

yep black school sannies but i remember my first pair of platforms and wedges

I have posted before that I loved them so much i slept with them on my pillow and the wokd up with a hideous crease on my face that lasted till lunchtime

Shoes were a huge thing for me as a kid

The first pair I remember because I really craved them, was a yellow patent leather.
Went to the seaside in them and ended up in agony with blisters, never wore them again.
Then I had knee length bright red pvc boots, first wage I ever earned paid for them.
