The producers threw Brendan under the bus, I watched on the 12.5w satellite feed with the production talkback track on a separate audio channel and one of the gallery members actually said "Dalton's been swapped with Brendan, so that should seal his fate". On checking, the preliminary order had Dalton performing first and during the Strictly cross-over - the change was obviously planned.

According to various posts on twitter, some viewers in ROI were unable to vote for the first time. This obviously would have massively impacted votes for Brendan. I imagine when (or if) the voting results are published we'll see a significant decrease in votes for Brendan for this week.

Unfortunately, its little tactics like this which gives the producers the power they need to influence the result and give them the final they want.

Well Scarlett performed first last week and she still made the cut. I'm not at all that shocked that someone who was 12th in Week 2, did not make it to the final.

I'm not shocked at all. The girls did great in the last few weeks and some others (Bella, Misunderstood, United Vibe, Brendan, Danny) had weak rounds. The weekly performance is really important. Also the girls have the "victim" factor going on at this point. The audience have started to root for them.

One more thing. There is no such thing a grudge against a contender. They have no interest to kick out Brendan or save A & A. They want what the audience want, because that's how they make money out of the show and the performers later on.

Very easily! If you have a motorised satellite dish you just point it to the satellite and frequency that ITV are using to receive the show at their headquarters. They then process it for distribution to TV (about 10 second delay).

The advantage of picking up the direct feed is you have no on-screen logos, full HD resolution and access to the talkback track.
