Definitely not. EastEnders hasn’t gotten over 13/-14 million for a Christmas episode since 2007 and even that was a one-off.

By the way, the big 3 got this Christmas 2008 just to compare:

Easties- 9.89 million (40.6%) and 11.47 million (44.9%)
Corrie: 7.36 million (30%)
Emmerdale: 4.76 million (20.5%)

Can’t disagree with him. I stopped losing track of yearly ratings trend since 2012. The days of guaranteed double-digits for Christmas TV are well and truly ever.

I think he'll definitely wake up whilst they're discussing what to do next.

Whether he wakes up, is fine, tells them where to go and moves on or disappears into the night I've no idea.
