I've enjoyed the first two episodes but I accidentally read a spoiler. Although IMO a fairly obvious one.

That #7 who supposedly has no powers is actually the most powerful / dangerous

The choreography and effects are good, though, so it's well worth a watch. The scene with Nightcrawler #5 in the diner is a great action sequence

So I'm nearly finished this and have very much enjoyed it but I had to pause for a second just to come on and say that Robert Sheehan - whilst I think he generally plays the role brilliantly - has a seriously awful American accent. Really, properly old-school bad that you just don't see much on TV these days. It's been pretty terrible all the way through but I'm on the last couple of episodes now and it's descended to the point where, when it is American, it sounds like a school kid's version of an American accent... and I say "when it is American" because half the time it just goes full blown Irish at this point .

Just finished the season and honestly the finale knocked it out of the park

They clearly spent like 90% of the effects budget on the last two episodes though .

It felt quite derivative that Vanya was basically just Dark Phoenix in the end

That being said though, I thought it was great. It starts off slow but it really soars in those last few episodes, can't wait for Season 2.

I'm enjoying it, halfway through episode 8.

But there are too many tropes that are a bit annoying. Harold basically being Syndrome from the Incredibles, Pogo the unnecessarily-secretive background figure, Klaus being a nihilistic comic book character that takes drugs + acts wacky, Diego being yet another secretive vigilante that literally sucks the life out of any scene he's in...

And the details that would actually flesh these characters out into being more realised and compelling (Allison's daughter, Eudora's history with Diego, Klaus' Vietnam boyfriend, Cha Cha/Hazel's history, ANYTHING on the Commission other than "this lady wears a veil and has a briefcase ") are just...missing. So whilst it's a nice and stylish series, it's nothing great and not particularly something I'll love when it's over.

Other plot points I have difficulty with:
- Diego turning Grace off, and that just being....that
- Ben's death hasn't been explained yet. I would assume that's covered in later episodes though. If not that's...odd.
- I'm only halfway through e8 so I wonder if Allison's daughter went to sleep and never woke up, or something? Otherwise that's a huge overreaction on her stupid ex-husband's part
- There being literally no personality to Cha Cha at the moment. I've already mentioned I want some backstory on how they became agents, what their powers are, if they even have any?? Because Hazel seemed to be able to knock the hell out of Luther. But at least Hazel has a whole "sympathetic big boy who wants to watch birds and eat donuts" angle, even if it is a bit...random. Cha Cha... I don't see her motivation.
- Throwing in random acts of history to distract the viewers instead of explaining more about how the Commission came about all very well dangling the Hindenburg, Franz Ferdinand's assassination, Johannes Gutenburg's printing press in our face and just ignoring the big question: why are they driven to apocalypse? Who made them? etc.

That said, I may be wrong and the last two episodes cover all of this and then some

Finished it not long after my other post and yeah... not something I'll be itching to see a season two of. Nice styling but just a really frustrating story with too many plotholes.

Just finished and I really enjoyed it. I had no idea what to expect when I started, so I had no expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised by the whole series! Much better than any of the Marvel or DC TV series in general story line, acting and script. Loved 90% of the soundtrack. Sure it wasn't perfect but I'm definitely signed up for series two.

I got the impression that as kids they didn't have names and just went by numbers, and they chose and started using names "for the real world" at some point after 5 disappeared... so that's why he still doesn't have one.
