Hundreds of fame-hungry hopefuls besieged the auditions for the next series of Channel 4's hit reality TV show Big Brother in Birmingham over the weekend.

Ambitious youngsters from across the region congregated at Millennium Point in a desperate bid to be chosen for the show's sixth series.

The programme's producers ran along the queue looking for potential housemates and the hopefuls did not disappoint them by using a variety of outlandish tactics in an attempt to catch their eye.

Some tried outlandish costumes - including aliens, drag queens and army officers - while others had used placards to try and gain an edge over their many rivals.

In the queue was security officer Marcus Wilks, of Great Barr.

The confident 20-year-old said: "I'm desperate to get on this show. I'm a big fan, I watch it all the time and I can bring excitement, entertainment and controversy."

I guess I dont like the point of new housemates. Like...in BB7 there are gona be new housemates and people will forget about BB6' housemates...Its like a big circleeee.

I also think people who will be in BB7 will be aware that they are in the Big Brother house. After this series, after what they saw in BB6 they will try to do the most outgraces (sp!) things. They will be fake. Thats why I dont want to watch it. You might say people in BB6 have been fake. but I dont think so. I think everyone even Makosi was herself. I dont know her or anything but I think she is really bigheaded like she was in the house. lol.
I just hope BB6 wont be as boring as BB4?(cameron's one)
I just dont think i will be able to replace BB6 with BB7 or BB8 or BB7.
Alsooo I think someone from this board should go into the big brother house. That will be cool!
