X Factor judge says being set up at a lap-dancing club has put her off going out

Stunning Dannii Minogue ought to be out partying every night with eligible men at her beck and call. But the dance music diva says she can't remember the last time she went out on a date.

'It was a long time ago,' she admits. 'My friends say it's because I don't leave the house. They say I'll never meet Mr Right sitting at home watching TV.

'Sky+ has ruined my life.'

The Aussie star, 35, confides that a murky tabloid story about her fondling a female lap dancer really knocked her confidence. Photos of the incident, with a stripper called Jupiter at London's Puss In Boots club, circulated on the internet.

'It was a real spur of the moment thing,' she says. 'It's not like I'm always sitting at home thinking: “I really want to go to a lap-dancing club.”

'I went once and I got turned over. Someone put me on camera. It's titillating for the public, but it was a weird experience for me to be set up in the way I was.

'I don't expect people to be evil like that. It caught me off guard and I didn't get to stop the pictures being printed. It's made me wary of going out.'
