I did actually try, but I couldn't get it to work, especially with all the black. I could have written it on his chin, but I was worried he'd look too much like a young Jimmy Hill with a face tattoo

I just don't know why anyone would care on either side of this supposed debate. I don't get why people would object to a ship being called she, I don't get why people would object to not calling a ship she.

i Would have thought a ship with a name like Queen Elizabeth was pretty obviously female. If it were called King Bert, it would probably be male .... if it were called something like ocean spray, then its non gender specific

Its about the reason for the change

Its very unlikely its about anything other than a virtue signal or a fear of blame (or both)

I guess lits like adverts that shoehorn in mixed race couples on tv, its not that they care about racism it s about appearing to be on trend and ultimately a cynical attempt to make money based on race

The problem for me with this is not what the ships are called...he, she, it but the fact that they were intimidated by vandalism to change how they refer to ships? how in any civilised society is that acceptable? the vandalism should have been reported and CCTV or something put in place to stop it happening again

What percentage of the population are trans activists?An absolute minuscule amount.
What percentage of those trans activists will be so offended by a boat being called she?
Even less.

It’s silly to change this as they’re probably pissing off more of their customers by doing so.

Not to mention bowing down to vandals.
We don’t give in to terrorists so certainly shouldn’t to thugs.
