Niki: I ignore Simon

X Factor semi-finalist has revealed she doesn't take Simon Cowell seriously anymore, after the judge's constant jibes about her being a 'cabaret act'.

The 34-year-old mum-of-two said she thinks Simon only says things to "wind up" her mentor Louis Walsh, but she wishes he wouldn't look at her when she's performing.

Niki said: "I just don't take him seriously at all. He went from saying I was fantastic in the first weeks to all of a sudden slating me in the third week, he's been a bit up and down. But Simon says things for a reason and mostly it's to wind Louis up, but he does put the fear of God in me."

She added: "I wish he could sit there with a big paper bag over his head cos I'd do much better. I'm constantly thinking 'oh he's staring at me' and I'm thinking 'what's he looking at?'.

"I know he says things in a horrible way sometimes, but I think he's only telling you for your own good. When the camera's are turned off, he'll give me a quick wink and you think 'oh you little b****r'."

Niki will go head-to-head on Saturday with the remaining three acts for a place in the final on December 15.

She has only been good for 3 weeks which were week 1, 2 and last week. I think she thinks she has won, I really don't like her and she is only still in the competition because her dad is dead.

lol It's all panto this show, Louis, Sharon, Simon and Dannii all getting so well, in fact they go to each others house for dinner, they just have little hissy fits at each other to make the show more good.

This time last week there were reports that Hope have said this that ect, now they are saying Niki has said this and that, so I wouls take this with a pinch of salt.

She doesn't respond very well to criticism, not sure that's a particularly good way to be really.Simon has only been honest.

Nah mate. Hot studff was a big mistake and the song from Chicago was a poor choice too. HE should have done what Simon did with Leona last year. He should have given her almost all ballads to sing. She'd have been a front runner.

Maybe, but she should have ben a favourite with Rhydian. Louis messed up. He showed us her weakness and she never recovered.
