Welcome to show 8 of strictly tibb dancing and this week the competition really heats up as they all want to fight to get though to Blackpool. The theme this week was 80s vs 90s. So let's get started...
The first couple is Livia and Alijaz with an Argentine Tango to Cyndi Lauper Time after time(this cover) Parm:never have I been more moved, and I've been banned from a few pubs Mitchell: I love Cyndi and I love the song, but this cover really didn’t fit the dance, it wasn’t a great cover to choose Cherie:loved this version Adam  ecent Barry:Why not the original 80s? This was not that good Parm:9 Mitchell:3 Cherie:10! Adam:7 Barry:6 The next couple is Girth and Nadiya with a Salsa to Madonna La isla Bonita Parm:madonna is such an obvious choice and you looked a bit silly in the make up Mitchell:aww love this song Cherie:Queen of the 80s Adam:Those hips were stiffer than parm seeing breasts Barry:Ioved this dance and song Parm:2 Mitchell:7 Cherie:9 Adam:5 Barry:9 Next is Niamh and Gorka with a Quickstep to The Bangles Walk like an Egyptian Parm:yes everything fitted, luckily for the viewers. Mitchell:this seems more Charleston like for me, but a good choice regardless Cherie:Yes worked well Adam:Tonight you quickstepped like an Egyptian Barry:What a quickstep very adorable* Parm:9 Mitchell:7 Cherie:10! Adam:9 Barry:9 Next up is Liam and Dianne with a Paso Doble to Billy Idol Rebel Yell Parm:my favourite of the round Mitchell:This was an incredible choice, very left field, I love it! Cherie:Great choice Adam:Boring Barry: I loved it Parm:10! Mitchell:10! Cherie:10! Adam:4 Barry:9 Next is Nicky and AJ with a Jive to Billy Joel we didn't start the fire Parm:he didnt, but you did hun! ...and you let him with 2 mohicans take the blame...bravo Mitchell:don’t remind me of Ant’s backstabbing! Cherie:mmm good not great Adam:Well who did start the fire Barry:um..ok it was. Yoda talking there sorry Parm:9 Mitchell:8 Cherie:8 Adam:4 Barry:7 Next up is Morgan and Aliona with a Waltz to George Michael Careless Whisper Parm: Total car crash of a dance Mitchell:aww this was really cute Cherie:Fabulous Adam:That dance was everything but careless darling Barry:Very good loved it Parm:2 Mitchell:8 Cherie:10! Adam:8 Barry:10! Next is Tony and Kristina with a Samba to Madonna Into the groove Parm:we had madonna, THIS IS NOT THE MADONNA SHOW. Mitchell:meh Cherie:Queen of the 80s round 2 Adam o you lot not know anyone other than Madonna. Terrible dance tooBarry:I liked the first Madonna song better but I still dig this Parm:1 Mitchell:6 Cherie:9 Adam:4 Barry:8 Next is Kazanne and Kevin with a Tango to Michael Jackson Billie Jean Parm:as filthy as a hidden pair of y fronts in Michaels bedroom Mitchell:this really wasn’t special, this didn’t scream final 8 Cherie:This worked Adam:Billie Jean is not your lover Barry:Solid dance Parm:7 Mitchell:6 Cherie:9 Adam:5 Barry:8 On to the 90s now Livia and Alijaz with a Theatre Jazz to Will Smith Men in Black Parm: Great song choice great dance Mitchell: Oh Adam:I was bored shirtless Barry:Yes I liked it well done Parm:8 Mitchell:6 Cherie:10! Adam:3 Barry:9 Girth and Nadiya with a Rumba to Shania Twain Still the one Parm: No you ain't Mitchell:this was cute, the only reason it wasn’t a 10 is that it seems more sweet and innocent than a SEXY RUMBA, but still adorable! Cherie:Not Shania Again! Find someone else Adam:You still not the one Barry:for a rumba it was quite bland Parm:3 Mitchell:9 Cherie:5 Adam:5 Barry:7 Niamh and Gorka with a Contemporary to Portishead Glory Box Parm: I'm intrigued and want to see a bit more next week Mitchell:this was unique, so well done! Cherie:Brilliant Adam:Get a life dear I've seen Jon Sargent dance better Barry:Um I liked it Parm:7 Mitchell:8 Cherie:10! Adam:3 Barry:8 Liam and Dianne with a Cha Cha to Santana Smooth Parm:cha Cha cha isn't the sound of a sneeze darling, and you just Snottered all over your chances of making blackpool Mitchell:again a unique routine, but not final 8 standard Cherie:Super Smooth Adam:Boring Barry:Excellent* Parm:1 Mitchell:7 Cherie:10! Nicky and AJ with an American Smooth to Falco Out of the dark Parm: Meh Mitchell:lost amongst other better routines Cherie:just smooth Adam:You could have done better Barry:Oh interesting. I liked the different language then to english Parm:5 Mitchell:6 Cherie:8 Adam:5 Barry:9 Morgan and Aliona with a Street Dance to Busa Rhyme by Eminem ft Missy Elliot Parm:Meh Cherie:Very different I like it Adam:you are going home this week Barry:it was only OK Parm:5 Mitchell:7 Cherie:10! Adam:2 Barry:8 Tony and Kristina with a Foxtrot to MC Hammer Can't touch this Parm:who would want to after that Mitchell:wtf was this?! Foxtrot?! MC Hammer?!
