Any hard ERGers in cabinet would cause chaos in the tory party with the remain MPs feeling pushed out, even Boris is smart enough not to do that.

This woman had to go as a Minister before. Bringing this hard liner back shows extremely bad judgement. Even May accepted this woman had to go before. She's awful. |

Getting worse by the minute.
The awful Leadsom still around. This is a hard-line Cabinet for sure. Near the last thing the Country needs. |

Yes, it's nowhere near an inclusive Cabinet at all.
All rewarding his harder line supporters it seems. It will please the majority of Conservative party members, and the more hardline Conservative voters. Not hopefully though the voters he needs from Labour or Lib Dems. Last edited by joeysteele; 24-07-2019 at 07:53 PM. |

Quote:
This doesn't appear a Cabinet that will unite the Conservative party never mind the voters. One saving grace, he hasn't so far included the awful Esther McVey. I think it's a mistake he hasn't secured Hunt in the Cabinet. There's now a strong group of inwardly dissatisfied ex Cabinet Ministers on his backbenches. If he loses Brecon and the MP now charged with sexual offences. He may regret making this opportunity he has to just run a more extreme hard-line ship. |
